Hotel Bristol is located in Vienna’s city center, so no matter which direction you arrive from, follow the “ZENTRUM” signs. Before you reach the city centre you will join RINGSTRASSE – a boulevard surrounding Vienna’s old town. To aid orientation, Ringstrasse is devided into differently named section (Kaerntner Ring, Burgring, Schottenring, etc.). Hotel Bristol is located on KAERNTNER RING.
Arrival via A1 Motorway
The first road sign to watch out for is WIEN-AUHOF, where the motorway ends. You are now in WIENTALSTRASSE and the speed limit is 50 km/h. Continue straight ahead along HIETZINGER KAI, pass Schönbrunn Palace to your right and proceed along SCHÖNBRUNNER SCHLOSSTRASSE into SCHÖNBRUNNER STRASSE. Follow the “Zentrum” Sign. You are now in RECHTE WIENZEILE. Enter Ringstrasse via SCHWARZENBERPLATZ and take the parallel side road to the hotel.
Arrival via the A2 Motorway
The first road sign to watch out for is VÖSENDORF. Continue along the motorway A23 (direction BRNO, PRAG, FAVORITEN). Take Exit ST. MARX and follow the signs to SIMMERINGER HAUPTSTRASSE, ZENTRUM. Once on Simmeringer Hauptstrasse head towards city center. By continuing straight ahead you reach RENNWEG ending on SCHWARZENBERGPLATZ. From there turn left onto RINGSTRASSE and take the parallel side road to the hotel.
Arrival from Vienna International Airport via A4 Motorway
Take the A4 Motorway from the Airport direction Vienna (WIEN). The Motorway ends at the Prater junction. Continue straight ahead into SCHÜTTELSTRASSE. By proceeding along the bank of the Danube canal you will reach UNTERE DONAUSTRASSE. Turn left towards “ZENTRUM, URANIA” and cross ASPERN BRIDGE to RINGSTRASSE. Proceed to KÄRNTNER RING and take the parallel side road to the hotel.
