Day 1: Arrive in Rovaniemi
Arrival to Rovaniemi airport. Private Mini Van Transfer pick up at the Rovaniemi airport/ Drop off at the hotel in Rovaniemi. Check-in at your hotel (guaranteed from 3pm).

Day 2: Explore Rovaniemi

10:00am / 10:30am - Santa Claus Safari (6 Hours)
Take the most popular safari, which combines nature, culture and the spirit of Christmas. The day starts with a snowmobile safari to a reindeer farm where you will hear more about reindeer husbandry and Lappish culture. You can take a reindeer ride and attend a special Lapp ceremony of crossing the Arctic Circle. In the afternoon, the trip continues by car to Santa Claus Village with time to do shopping in Santa Claus Village. You will also have an opportunity to send postcards from Santa Claus' main post office. During the day, you get to meet Santa Claus himself and enjoy a delicious lunch in a cosy restaurant. And you will get a Diploma for crossing the Arctic Circle!
Due to the track/weather conditions and safety reasons, transfers to and from farms may be done by car. Snowmobiles will be ridden as part of the programme.

Day 3: Rovaniemi Husky Safari

9:15am - Husky Safari (2.5 Hours)
After a short drive from town, you’ll arrive at a husky kennel, where friendly huskies will enthusiastically welcome you. Before departing on the safari, you will be instructed how to control the sleds. This safari allows you to experience something unique: the ties between the musher and the dogs formed on a joint expedition into the wilderness. You soon learn that behind its icy-blue gaze, a husky is a friendly canine character who works closely with people. Once you return to the kennel, you can enjoy hot berry juice by an open fire and chat away with the musher about these amazing northern animals.

Embark on a northern lights trip and get out of the city lights. Heading outside Rovaniemi city and following the riverside road north, the ride will get you to the best spot to see Northern Lights but be patient as the Aurora loves playing hide-and-seek; you never know when they will show up! While observing nature’s own theatrical performance you fry sausages and traditional Finnish ‘tikkupulla’ surrounded by the great aroma of the fire. This relaxing escape will definitely satisfy all of your senses.
