New York City: Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island
Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty was a gift of international friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States. It is one of the most universal symbols of political freedom and democracy. The views of the Statue from the water are breathtaking and reminiscent of what immigrants first saw entering New York Harbor.
Ellis Island
Ellis Island opened in 1892 and was the entry point for European immigrants for more than 60 years. Twelve million people passed through the halls that are now the historical Ellis Island Immigration Museum. Walk through the Great Hall as the new Americans once did – ancestors of more than half of the US population. You can search for your family surname on the American Immigrant wall of Honor. With over 600,000 entries, it is the longest wall of names in the world.

Like most of the developing city in the early years, SoHo (which stands for South of Houston Street – and by the way, it’s pronounced How-ston) started as a small village. Over time, the neighborhood went from the wealthiest, to the most industrial, to a slum called “Hell’s 100 acres.” Now it is back to trendy again. SoHo is one of the most stylish neighborhoods in New York City, with clues of its past around every corner. Several of its cast iron buildings built in the mid-1800s still stand. As you explore the area, you will get the feel of its many cobblestone streets. When artists arrived in SoHo in the 1970s, they began the revival of the neighborhood. You’ll visit two of SoHo’s famed art galleries, including the Earth Room. Next to SoHo is NoLIta – which is Northern Little Italy. The area is home to the old St. Patrick’s Cathedral. One story in particular your guide will impart is the 1799 murder of Elma Sands, the “Ghost of Spring Street.”

New York City: The Origins of NYC Sightseeing Program
New York traces its rich history to Lower Manhattan, the meeting point of the Hudson River and the East River. Originally named Nieuw (New) Amsterdam, New York City began as a small Dutch settlement in what is now known as Lower Manhattan. Broadway, which was then called Heere Straat (Gentleman Street), was nothing but a small road. Wall Street actually had a wall back in 1653 to protect the settlers from attacks. As the city grew, so did the nation. New York was the first capital of the United States and the spot where George Washington was inaugurated is marked by his statue. Over the years, Lower Manhattan has become the financial capital of the world. Today, the streets are teeming with people and filled with stories of New York’s past, present, and future. As you explore Lower Manhattan with your guide, you’ll see the 9/11 Memorial, St. Paul’s Chapel, Battery Park, and Trinity Church as you learn about the history of the Native Americans, Dutch, and English.

You’ll immerse yourself in the opulence of this iconic establishment, where Kevin transformed the prestigious property into his personal playground, indulged in extravagant experiences and outsmarted the staff along the way.
Next, prepare to be enchanted as you step into the magical wonderland of FAO Schwarz, famously known as Duncan's Closet in the movie. This whimsical destination becomes a prime target for the mischievous antics of the notorious "Wet Bandits."
You’ll then head to always enchanting Central Park, the very place where Kevin formed an extraordinary bond with the captivating "Pigeon Lady," visit the Empire Diner where a towering Santa on stilts startled Kevin, adding a dash of whimsy to his escapades, marvel at the awe-inspiring views of Lady Liberty from Battery Park, soak in the excitement of Times Square and end up at the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, the symbol of joy and hope, where Kevin's heartwarming reunion with his mom took place.
After you’ve “scene” all of these iconic – and sentimental – filming spots, you’ll head to one of the city’s awe-inspiring observation decks where you’ll be treated to a view of New York City’s skyline all dressed up in its holiday best. Your choices? The Empire State Building (an NYC classic!), Rockefeller Center’s very own Top of the Rock, Hudson Yard’s unique EDGE or the dazzling SUMMIT One Vanderbilt.

When you think of New York City – what food comes to mind? If you said bagels, you’d most likely be in the majority. There’s nothing like a NYC bagel for breakfast, brunch, lunch - and heck for dinner too! Now you can experience the best of the best thanks to our EXCLUSIVE Private Bagel Making, Cragel and Donut Deluxe NYC Food Tour.
Now, this is not your ordinary NYC bagel tour. Why? Because on our exclusive NYC private tour, you’ll have the rare opportunity to get hands-on by helping to make authentic New York bagels at the best bagel shop in the city! And no food tour would be complete without sampling the fare – meaning you get to taste the best bagels, cream cheeses and lox the Big Apple has to offer as well! And it’s not just bagels you get to learn about – you’ll also visit the bagel shop that makes the world’s only “cragel” – a half-bagel, half-croissant, that combines the dense chewiness of the bagel with the buttery flakiness of the croissant. Finally, as you may have surmised by the title of this experience, you’ll finish on a sweet note with a donut from a famous donut shop that’s been a Brooklyn staple for over 60 years - and was featured in the latest Spider-Man movie!
Your exclusive bagel adventure begins when your professional driver and expert, licensed tour guide pick you up at your hotel in a private luxury vehicle.

And of course, you’ll also get to sample those delicious hot fresh bagels, a variety of spreads, and a luxurious lox sandwich.
After that amazing experience you’ll get back into your luxury vehicle and continue to the next stop on the tour, which is Bagel Point in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This particular bagel shop is home to the famous “cragel” which is a pastry that combines a bagel and a croissant for one tasty treat. Here you will also get to sample the fare and if you would like, you can also take part in another hands-on rolling experience.
And if that isn’t enough yumminess for one day, after your cragel expedition you’ll take a short stroll down the block to Brooklyn’s best donut shop, Peter Pan Donuts, where you’ll finish the day off with a sweet treat of your choice.

New York City: Statue of Liberty Tour & Ellis Island and 9/11 Memorial Museum - 8 Hours
Highlights:
We are excited to share that we’ve brought together three attractions that tell the history - both the good and the bad - of Lower Manhattan into one complete package with our Statue of Liberty Tour & Ellis Island and 9/11 Memorial Museum experience.
Statue of Liberty: For as long as she's been standing over New York Harbor, the Statue of Liberty is synonymous with New York City. It is the number one landmark that people think of when they think of the city and the one place most people head to as first-time visitors.
Ellis Island: Ellis Island is synonymous with Lady Liberty. And for most people, when taking the ferry over to Liberty Island, a stop at Ellis Island is a must.
9/11 Memorial & Museum: Since its opening in 2014, the 9/11 Memorial Museum has also become a top ten must-see, along with the 9/11 Memorial itself.
On this full-day tour, your expert private tour guide will escort you to all three for one unforgettable day. Join us for an immersive history lesson that embodies travel as a living classroom.
• Your Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and 9/11 Memorial Museum experience begins when you’re picked up by our professional driver in a private luxury vehicle.
• Your driver will take you downtown to Battery Park where you’ll meet your private, professional tour guide to begin the journey to your first destination.
• Upon your arrival at Battery Park, you’ll board a ferry run by Statue Cruises to head across the New York Harbor for an up close and personal look at Lady Liberty.
• Once on Liberty Island, you’ll get to go inside this magnificent statue where you can access the pedestal for amazing outside views. You’ll also visit the new Statue of Liberty museum where you’ll get a peek at her original torch, an opportunity to measure your foot against Lady Liberties, enjoy an immersive theater experience and learn everything you always wanted to know about this symbol of American freedom.
• After departing Liberty Island your next stop is Ellis Island where over 12 million immigrants arrived on US shores.
• Your Ellis Island tour will consist of a visit to the National Museum of Immigration where you’ll learn about how immigrants were processed as they arrived – and have the opportunity to learn more about your family history.
• After your time on these two islands, you’ll board the ferry for the ride back to Lower Manhattan. Once you have disembarked the ferry your guide will walk you through Battery Park where you’ll continue until you reach the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.
• Here you’ll tour the grounds of the 9/11 Memorial where you’ll encounter the two reflecting pools created to honor those we lost on that fateful day. Among the other things you’ll see are two items that survived the attacks that day - the Survivor Tree (a Callery pear tree) and The Sphere (the world's largest bronze sculpture of modern times).
• After paying your respects on the grounds where the Twin Towers once stood, you’ll head into the 9/11 Memorial Museum. Here you’ll learn the history of not only the 9/11 attacks – but of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing as well. Since private guided tours cannot be conducted within the museum, your private tour guide will give a brief synopsis of what you are about to see before entering the building. Your 9 11 museum tour is surely one you will never forget and a must-do for anyone coming to New York City.
• Upon completion of these three pieces of American history your private driver will pick you up in your luxury vehicle and drop you off at your requested end destination.

New York City: Private Cupcake Tasting NYC Food Tour - 3.5 Hours
Highlights:
If you have a sweet tooth – or just an appreciation for delicious desserts – you’re going to love our Private Cupcake Tasting NYC Food Tour! This NYC cupcake tour combines the oh-so-tasty treat with food history and is led by a well-respected culinary historian, cookbook author and culinary educator with a specialty in fine chocolate and other artisanal foods.
And those cupcakes? Although they originated in the late 19th century, it wasn’t until early in the 21st century that trendy cupcake shops (also known as cupcakeries) started popping up in the United States. These specialized bakeries sell little or nothing but cupcakes and there are dozens of upscale cupcake bakeries in the Big Apple. In fact, cupcakes have now become a pop culture trend in the culinary world, with shops like Magnolia Bakery gaining publicity thanks to their appearance on popular television shows like Sex and the City. As you visit four of the best cupcake shops in Lower Manhattan, not only will you get to taste a diversity of heavenly cupcakes, you’ll also get to rate them! From presentation to frosting quality and style to moistness and crumb density – you get to play food critic in the yummiest of ways!
• Your walking food tour begins when you meet your expert tour guide at the Arch at Washington Square Park. And when we say expert, we mean expert! Her accolades include a certificate of outstanding achievement from The James Beard Foundation and a book award from The International Association of Culinary Professionals. From Jacques Pepin to Julia Child, Thomas Keller, Jacques Torres, Daniel Boulud and Padma Lakshmi, she has worked with the most distinguished culinary talent.
• While at Washington Square Park you’ll gather around the statue of Giuseppe Garibaldi, one of the leaders of Italian unification, where you’ll learn about Italian immigrants in New York City.
• After that it’s time to get down to business! As you make your way to four highly recommended cupcake shops, you’ll also learn about the neighborhoods that you stroll through along the way – making this a private walking tour that combines food and culture.
• Your culinary cupcake and culture adventure stops include the aforementioned Magnolia Bakery, Molly's Cupcakes, Little Cupcake Bake Shop and Butter Lane. At each you’ll sample one of their specialty customized cupcakes and then play food critic by rating them on pre-determined criteria.
• But that’s not all! Along the way you’ll also learn about the cupcake's unlikely origins and hear about trends in the world of cupcakes. You’ll even get to visit a commercial kitchen where these elaborate sweet treats are created!
